Mr. Wilfred Nicholas Morris was elected to the House of Representatives, as the Member for Mayaro in April of 2025. He was appointed to serve as Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs and Parliamentary Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister.

Mr. Morris previously served as Chairman of the United National Congress National Youth Arm from 2011 to 2015, and as International Relations Officer from 2015 to the present. Mr. Morris also served as an Opposition Parliamentary Researcher on Energy Affairs and Parliamentary Procedure for nine years.

Mr. Morris holds an MBA in Oil and Gas Management, and certificates in Global Energy and Climate Policy, Parliamentary Management and Administration as well as Parliamentary Procedure from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Academy. Mr. Morris is a former Commonwealth Youth Ambassador and Commonwealth Youth Parliamentarian.
