Dr. Aiyna Ali was elected as the Member of Parliament for Princes Town in April of 2025 at the 13^th Republican Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago.  She has also been a resident of her constituency, having been birthed and raised in the community.

She is a healthcare professional and qualified dentist as well as community activist with a passion for public service and youth empowerment. Her focus in the healthcare system is to improve the accessibility of healthcare initiatives, to create opportunities for young people as well as to build safer and more sustainable communities.

Dr. Ali’s candidacy and elected representation emerged as a result of a decision by the leader of the United National Congress to introduce “new faces and new voices” to the political arena.
