Dr. Natalie Chaitan-Maharaj was appointed to serve as a Senator in the 13th Republican Parliament, assigned as the Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services.
Dr. Chaitan-Maharaj is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, who brings over 15 years of dedicated experience in women’s healthcare. Since 2010, she has served at the Mt. Hope Women’s Hospital as a Substantive Registrar and Part-Time Consultant, playing a vital role in patient care and the training of junior doctors.
Dr. Chaitan-Maharaj's long-standing service in the public health sector reflects a deep commitment to the well-being of others.
