Mr. Christian Birchwood was elected to the House of Representatives in the 13th Republican Parliament as the representative for Laventille East/Morvant.

Mr. Birchwood holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Trinidad and Tobago and has tremendous experience in operations coordination, national fuel distribution, and safety innovations within the oil and gas industry. His leadership extends to STEM education advocacy, career guidance programs, and youth skill-building initiatives. He is an active leader in mentorship and community development programs.
